Wool fabrics

All our tweed fabrics are woven in 100% pure new wool, with all its unrivalled properties. Wool fabrics keep you warm and comfortable, while being naturally wrinkle resistant with very high wear resistance. All our wool comes from the UK and is woven in West Yorkshire, England. The weaving technique for all fabrics is Twill or Herringbone.

After the fabric has first been woven, each meter is checked by hand and then undergoes its finishing wash. Wool is a natural material, and once the fabric has its final finish, it has become both wonderfully soft and at the same time stain resistant, that is, extra resistant to dirt and stains. Thus, our wool fabrics fit just as well as furniture fabrics as for clothes!
